My recent Oracle RAC Automated provisioning article”Automated Deployment of Oracle RAC using Enterprise Manager Provisioning Pack ” was published in IOUG SELECT Journal 2010 4th Quarter issue. This article explored one of features provided by Oracle Enterprise Manager for the software lifecycle management: Autmated provisioning of software systems. This feature simplifies the Oracle RAC database deployment process by automating most tasks of provisioing process. It significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy and reduce the cost and technical challenges of massive Oracle RAC database deployments.
